Set in the wilderness of the Northern Tuli Game
Reserve in the Eastern corner of Botswana, Nitani offers African
travellers a special bush experience – five beautifully
appointed guest suites that are built two metres above the ground
over the Majali river each with a personal plunge pool. Decadent
staff-to-guest ratios ensure that every need is catered for, but
privacy remains sacrosanct. Nitani offers superb cuisine with
the chef preparing meals in a finishing kitchen in front of guests
and creating individualised menus to cater for clients’
dietary preferences. Our wellness centre is equipped to offer
various beauty treatments and massages, to pamper and relax guests
in the tranquillity of the African bush. You will become attuned
to a world that is increasingly rare – one that is unspoilt
by the visual and aural pollution that has become almost ubiquitous
in the modern world. The human impact has been minimised as much
as possible through careful architecture and environmentally friendly
technology. There are only five suites at Nitani Lodge –
all sumptuous. Each is set on stilts above the Majali River and
completely blends in with the environment. Each has its own plunge
pool. There are permanent water holes, which means that invariably
there are animals to be viewed from the safety and comfort of
your suite. The standard of appointments is world class and each
suite is totally private. There is sufficient staff to cater for
your every need, but at the same time your privacy is sacrosanct,
making Nitani a private Eden. Nitani provides an individualised
experience. Nothing here is regimented or structured and we do
everything in our power to ensure that your stay is spectacular.
If you have a specialised interest in astronomy, birds, butterflies,
bugs, botany, archaeology, geography or any other of the natural
sciences, our resident ecologist will be delighted to share his
knowledge with you. Nitani’s wellness Center, where guests
are pampered by a highly qualified therapist using one of the
world leading salon products, Dermalogica. Our specialist treatments
include hot stone therapy, reflexology, various customised facials,
full–body massages, spa treatments such as mud wraps, mineral
salt scrubs and hydration treatments, as well as waxing, manicures
and pedicures. The Honeymoon Suite is sumptuous
and private, with a beautiful hand-carved bed and its own rock
plunge pool. It is decorated in romantic creams and whites with
furnishings such as a chaise-lounge to suite the decadent mood.
The bride and groom are treated to a complementary massage and
a bottle of champagne during their stay.

Directions to Accommodation
Follow the N1 from Johannesburg or Pretoria to Pietersburg
(Polokwane) approximately 300 kilometres. The freeway ends at
a traffic light, turn left at this traffic light and pass through
six traffic lights and turn right. Continue for approximately
3 kilometres to the next traffic light, turn left and follow the
R521 to the town of Alldays (approximately 150 kilometres). At
Alldays the R521 ends at a stop street, turn right and follow
the road to Pontdrift border post (58 kilometres). Nitani staff
will meet guests at the South African border post.
