The 'Big Cat', Lions Den and Eagles Nest Conference Rooms can be arranged in various configurations and seats up to 200 delegates. The 'Discovery' Board Room projects style and class. It seats 14 delegates. At the "1998 Conference & Exhibition Venue" Awards Discover Lodge was voted one of the 'Top Five' conference venues in Southern Africa in the Exclusive Game Lodge Category. Discover Lodge carries this distinction proudly and confidently.The conference rooms are equipped with top quality presentation equipment all of which ensure maximum communication, convenience and comfort. For a function with a difference, consider a Bush Braai at our boma combined with a game drive for the ultimate experience. Our Auditorium seats 150 people and can be draped and decorated to suit any theme. Eagle's Wing accomodates 150 people sit down / buffet or 250 people cocktail style (air conditioned). Boma accomodates 50 peole sit down / buffet or 70 people cocktail style. Oukraal accomodates 400 people sit down / buffet or 600 people cocktail style. Pool Deck accomodates 100 people sit down / buffet or 150 cocktail style. Patio accomodates 60 people sit down / buffet or 80 cocktail style

Conference Venue - Discover Lodge ( Conference Venues in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa )
Only 40 minutes drive from the centre of Johannesburg, and 10 minutes from Krugersdorp, you will find yourself completely removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Discover Lodge is situated on the Western boundary of the Krugersdorp Game Reserve, which includes an abundance of animal and bird life, in fact it is home to the largest indigenous bird aviary in Africa. The reserve hosts 36 different animal species including Rhino, Red Hartebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Oryx, Eland, Sable and many more. One of the main attractions being the 100ha Lion enclosure. The Lodge has twenty four luxurious double bedrooms, all en-suite and equipped with television and telephone. Upstairs rooms (10 to 16) with their timber balconies overlook the reserve while ground floor rooms (1 to 9) open into the lush garden. The new rooms (17 to 24) all have views of the reserve. All of our luxurious rooms have DSTV and are air conditioned.

Directions to Conference Venue
1. Drive to Krugersdorp from anywhere by means of R28 (N14)

2. When over the hill, take off ramp into Robert Broom Drive

3. Continue for about 9kms (Munsieville on your right, through a small mountain pass).

4. At the T-junction, turn right into Rustenburg Road (R24 to Magaliesburg).

5. After about 1,5km you will pass the main entrance to the Krugersdorp Game Reserve on the right.

6. Continue past the reserve for another 3.7km. Continue past the Ventersdorp turn off on your left, until the Country Garage (Lodge signs will start appearing).

7. Turn right at the garage and continue for about 1.4km.

8. At the 4-way Stop turn right (Discover Lodge sign).

9. After a further 1km, you will turn right, into the Discover Lodge parking lot.
