The maximum delegates will be 60 in cinema style, 40 schoolroom & 27 u-shape. We do have the standard equipment that is included in the rate, eccept the data projector that will be on a additionsal charge.

Quayside offers two superb conference centres - the Drakensberg Conference Facility catering for groups of up to 60 delegates and boasting the most advanced facilities with the additional advantage of the Protea Conference Room as a breakaway room.
The Outeniqua Conference Facility caters for smaller groups who look for an upmarket yet private venue with a private lounge for delegate use only.

The Conference Centre and surrounding area have proven ideal for team building exercises and a variety of activities are available for delegates to enjoy whilst attending a conference

The Conference Centre is part of the Quayside Waterfront development , which incorporates exclusive shops and restaurants . Added attractions are charter-boats providing trips in and around False Bay as well as a variety of adventure sports and activities including sea-kayaking, scuba diving and snorkelling. The centre is also situated close enough for a pleasant walk to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and a ten minute drive from the Cape Point Nature Reserve.

Simon’s Town Quayside Hotel is a small, elegant hotel, overlooking the picturesque False Bay yacht basin, in one of the most peaceful destinations in the Cape Peninsula.
A mere 40 minutes from Cape Town City, and situated at the heart of the Cape Point Route, Simon’s Town is steeped in history and naval tradition, boasting many unspoiled sandy bathing beaches and unique flora and bird life.

The Hotel is part of the Quayside Waterfront Development, which incorporates Bertha’s Restaurant and a number of exclusive shops. We are also situated close enough for a pleasant walk to the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and a ten minute drive from the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the historical wine farm at Groot Constantia are also a twenty minute drive away.

The Simon’s Town Quayside Hotel comprises 26 en-suite bedrooms, 24 of which have twin beds and 2 with queen sized beds. All are equipped with telephone, minibar, safety deposit box and remote colour T.V. (with M-Net, Supersport and Movie Magic).
21 of the 26 rooms have a breathtaking view of False Bay and the Simon’s Town Yacht Basin; the remaining 5 overlook the well-known historical mile of Simons Town, framed by the majestic Simon’s Kloof Mountains. The hotel has 2 comfortably furnished sitting rooms and a 24-hour reception service.

Visitors are offered the full experience – An eclectic mix of seaside villages spanned by two coastlines wrapped around a National Park, 18 beaches to choose from; art & cultural experiences; interesting people; historical buildings; Cape fynbos; wildlife ranging from penguins to Buffalo; outdoor activities including golfing, boat trips, hiking, biking, diving, horse- riding, sand- boarding, kayaking, surfing, sailing ……and so much more.

We also offer two superb conference centres – the main centre (Drakensberg Room) catering for groups of up to 60 delegates with state of the art facilities and the additional advantage of two adjoining breakaway rooms.
The second facility (Outeniqua Room) caters for smaller groups of up to 20 delegates who seek an upmarket yet private venue. With an adjoining lounge for delegate use only and magnificent sea views, this venue is highly popular with the exclusive corporate market. Both venues are fully air-conditioned.

Simon’s Town and its surrounding area are ideal for team-building exercises and a variety of unique activities such as “Japanese kite-fighting” and “Amazing Race” type adventures are available for delegates to enjoy whilst attending a conference.
