The Blue Bay Boutique Hotel and Blouwaterbaai Holiday Resort offers a unique conference venue in the heart of the West Coast of South Africa. This peaceful establishment, with up-to-date equipment, will suit everyone's needs. Fully equipped self-catering cottages and/or 'deluxe' hotel rooms with en-suite accommodate delegates who require overnight facilities. For your convenience you may choose between bed and breakfast facilities to buffets and a la carte menus. There are three conference rooms available.

The elegantly gabled Blue Bay Boutique Hotel is built only meters above the wide, sandy beaches of Saldanha Bay; a tranquil South African fishing village lying approximately 120 kilometres North of the legendarily beautiful Cape Town. Situated in the relaxing privacy of the Blouwaterbaai Holiday Resort, the hotel offers guests privacy, first class accommodation, and a wide range of services and activities.

'Privacy and tranquillity' is our tagline. The hotel has comfortable, five star 'en suite' rooms, broad terraces where guest are served drinks as they relax watching whales and porpoises glide by, before being served delicious meals in its charming a la carte restaurant, the well known 'Blue Bay Café'.

The Blue Bay Boutique Hotel is adjoined by a number of self-catering beach side cottages, all secure within the resort and each with beautiful panoramic views. Each cottage is tastefully furnished and fully equipped.

The many corporate delegates who come here to meet and discuss issues of interest in one of our fully equipped conference rooms also appreciate the 'privacy and tranquillity' tagline. Another of the services is 'team building', where company management teams or private groups get together to learn to know each other better within the Blue Bay Boutique Hotel and its natural environs. Directions to Conference Venue
Directions from Cape Town International Airport

• Take the N2 towards Cape Town.
• Take the off-ramp to N7, direction Malmesbury.
• Follow the N7 until you reach the M19 to Melkbos.
• Go towards Melkbos until you reach a four-way robot (R27).
• Take a right and follow R27 to Veldrift.

On your way to Saldanha Bay, which is about an hour's drive from Melkbos, you drive past some interesting places like the Koeberg Power Station, the one and only Nuclear Power Station in South Africa. You will also pass Darling, a small village renowned for their wild flower show in spring and the West Coast National Park and the private game park Buffelsfontein.

At the West Coast 1 Stop, an Engen petrol station, you are getting close to your destination. Past the station you take the second turning left towards Saldanha. From there you pass Saldanha Steel on your left, the only environmentally friendly steel plant in South Africa.

The signs to Blouwaterbaai and Blue Bay Boutique Hotel are at the next turnoff left. From there just follow the signs.
