qualified guides can help you gain the maximum enjoyment from mountain
hiking and horse trails throughout the year.
Seasonal activities include skiing at the nearby Tiffendell resort,
fly-fishing in world-famous trout filled rivers, tubing and exceptional
birding.
For those with their own equipment, the area is ideal for mountain-biking,
quad/motorbikes, 4x4 trails and kayaking.
Edgehill is an awesome venue for activity-based groups to stay and we offer
preferential rates for hiking, riding, biking, birding and fishing clubs who
want to get away together.
Guests of all ages will love our gentle riverside walks, complete with
natural swimming pools, jacuzzis and bushman paintings - ideal for a picnic
lunch.
We offer family-friendly adjoining rooms and parents will be able to truly
relax whilst their children run around in freedom and safety.
As night falls, you can enjoy a drink in our bar area before dinner.
Afterwards, you can relax in front of a roaring log fire in our cosy lounge.
Alternatively, you can braai outside and gaze up at the stars, so clear that
you feel you can reach out and touch them.
Finally, snuggle up in your warm cosy bed and enjoy a good night's sleep
before waking up in wild mountain paradise once again.
Directions to accommodation
From the R58 (connecting Barkly East & Aliwal North) Follow signs
for Tiffindell Ski Resort. After approx 50kms you will come to a fork
signposted Tiffindell to the right and Lundean's Nek to the left. Take the
left hand fork to Lundean's Nek. After approx 500 metres you will see
Edgehill Farm signed on the right hand side.
