the main Homestead on the farm Wycombevale, and situated 12km
from the Nanaga turn-off towards Alexandria. The Farm House is
centrally situated for guest wanting to visit the malaria free
Game Reserves of the Eastern Cape, such as The Addo Elephant Park,
Schotia safari’s, Amakhala Game Reserve, and lots more…
This is an ideal getaway for families, wanting to get away from
it all; children can play around freely, help feed the chickens,
play at the play ground and touch the two pet Sheep. The Farm
House consists of two very spacious, lovely decorated rooms, each
with en-suit bathrooms, own private entrance, TV, tea & coffee
facilities, and bar fridge with condiments. They are also ideal
for parents and children wanting their own room, or a party of
4 traveling together. The Farm: Guests are welcome to walk around
the farm, see the dairy, and look at the bird and animal life.
Rianda & Hilgard can also take their guests for a night drive
on the farm after supper to see the natural wildlife such as Bushbuck,
Kudu, Duiker, porcupine and jackal. Should guest be interested,
moutain bikes, hiking trails, or a guided drive is also available
to view game and birds, at the family game farm, only 1 km from
The Farm House. Bookings Essential. Game Reserves: The Farm House
is centrally situated, close to the Addo National Park, Schotia
safari’s, Lalibela Game Reserve, Shamwari Game Reserve,
Amakhala Game Reserve as well as the Dune Drives at Dune Fields
Reserve, with the largest coastal dune fields in the Southern
hemisphere. Sunshine Coast: The Golden Beaches of the Sunshine
Coast (Kenton on Sea, Bushmansriver, and Port Alfred) are also
not more than 25 min drive away.
Directions to accommodation
From Port Elizabeth follow the N2 toward Grahamstown; at Nanaga
approx 48km from Port Elizabeth, turn on to the R72 towards Port
Alfred. Drive for 12km and you’ll find the Wycombevale sign
post on the left-hand side of the road.
