Our Guest House/ farm in the beautiful, rolling hills of Nanaga landscape in the Eastern Cape offers peace and tranquility. The lovingly restored homestead was built in 1815 and has three double en suite bedrooms and a Guest Cottage. Our rates include a full "Farm" breakfast and on request we serve light traditional lunches, evening meals and other refreshments . Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and the South African traditional "Braaivleis" (barbecue) may be arranged with meals. Mount Roberts boasts a number of interesting hiking trails in the Addo bushveld, for the fit and the less fit, and there is ample opportunity for bird-watching. Spectacular indigenous Nguni (Zulu) cattle can be observed on the farm. Mount Roberts is ideal for a day's or more relaxing retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. Breathe fresh country air for a change! Enjoy our glorious Southern starry nights, and awake to the song of birds. We are the gateway to: the greater Addo National Elephant Park, Schotia Safaris Reserve, Shamwari Game Park, Amakhala Game Park, Alexandria forest trail and the Zuurberg National Park. Bookings for game drives at the various game parks in the vicinity may be arranged with pleasure.

Directions to accommodation
Mount Roberts lies only 55 kms to the north-east of Port Elizabeth on the N10 road northwards to Cradock where it branches off from the N2 to Grahamstown. Mount Roberts is almost immediately after the turn off.
