An original country house, built in 1910, has gleaming wooden
floors, high ceilings and stained glass doors, reminding reflections
of a gracious era. Proud owners, Gavin & Melodeen have created
a refined haven of comfort, where guests are assured of outstanding

Ideally located in the beautiful garden suburb of Walmer, which
is centrally situated close to the airport, less than five minutes
to our popular beaches and within walking distance to fabulous
restaurants & pubs. Walmer Park Shopping Centre, which offers
a variety of shops, restaurants, cinemas and other entertainment,
is only six minutes drive away.
Accommodation
Five en-suite bedrooms and two family units, have an ambience
of tranquility and style, with private patio's overlooking a lush
tropical garden and pool. Each unit has its own private entrance,
en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with
M-Net, snack & beverage mini bars, heaters, fans & hairdryers
- all to ensure ultimate comfort and relaxation!
Hampshire is a lovely spacious two bedroom family suite with a
large private balcony overlooking the pool area; ideal for a family
of four to five members.
Winchester, is a quaint garden cottage ideal for a family of three
or four members.
Guest can also relax in a lovely Out of Africa; guest lounge and
sip a complimentary sherry next to the fireplace, perfect for
cold winter nights.
Dinning
English or Continental breakfasts are served in the relaxed setting
of a large dining room, which offers a view of the tropical garden
& pool. Gavin is the chef and prepares a breakfast that is
guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning taste! Home-cooked
evening meals are available by prior arrangement. An indoor and
outdoor braai facility, as well as a fully equipped kitchen is
available for those who prefer the self-catering option.
Directions to accommodation
From N2: Follow the & Settlers Way; sign and stay
on the (M4) all the way to the end of the freeway. Turn right
into Walmer Boulevardt (M9) at the traffic lights. Continue until
Third Avenue, turn left as if going to the airport and right into
Albert road. We are on the right hand side number 67!
From the airport: Turn left into Allister Miller, which becomes
Third Avenue. Continue past the filing station on your left, over
the railway line and turn left (second street) into Albert road.
We are on the right hand side, number 67!
