The lodge supports an abundant wildlife with over 352 species of birds having been identified in the area. Walking trails provide access to the dense indigenous coastal forest where many animals including bushbuck, blue duiker and vervet monkeys can be spotted. The Lodge is situated on the doorstep of the Maitland Nature Reserve, a 127 hectare property comprising of three nature trails, with the famous giant Maitland sand dunes and pristine shores of Maitland Beach a mere 2kms away. Thunzi Bush Lodge, set in unspoilt surroundings, is a place at home with nature in all its untamed glory. Thunzi offers ultimate exclusivity with only 3 chalets to 44 hectares of indigenous surroundings, let your soul revitalise in the quiet privacy of one of our luxury log cabins, each with its own balcony and spectacular view of the forest.

Two-bedroom beautifully furnished with full bathroom and separate lounge.
