in the rolling hills of Groenfontein and offers you marvellous
views, the scenic Eland river, two dams fed by natural fountains,
Game in abundanceand the best of it, it is only an hours drive
from Pretoria!
Guestrooms: 6 double bed guestrooms with en'suite shower and
toilet
Guest house: sleeping 12 people. Your family hide away or team-building
venue offers you a fully equipped kitchen, TV, Lounge, 3 double
bed guestrooms with en'suite bathroom or shower and toilet and
6 single beds.
Hilltop Chalet: sleeping 6 people, 2 additional beds for children
can be arranged. Enjoy the beautiful view from our Hilltop chalet,
no roads, no cars, nothing else but the sounds of the bush and
the scenic rolling hills of Groenfontein. Offers of a fully equipped
kitchen, 2 double bed guestrooms, shower, toilet, Barbecue area,
lounge;
Bush Camp: If you like to rough it and enjoy the bush in perfect
seclusion that's the place to do so. The Camp is situated next
to our fountain with water running all year long. It sleeps 6
people, generator power, bush shower with hot and cold water,
Barbecue area, and toilet. Only rented out as a unit.
Directions to accommodation
- From Pretoria / Johannesburg take the Nl towards Pietersburg
(Polokwane);
- Take the Zambezi off ram and turn right;
- At the second robot turn left on the R573 (Moloto road);
- Follow that road for ~ 30 km till you go through Wadrif;
- In Wadrif you get on both sides of the road a Shell petrol station,
300 m after them turn left on a gravel road towards Hartebeesfontein;
- Follow the gravel road for ~ 6 km and turn right on another
gravel road, (big Amakulu Nature Reserve sign on your right);
- After ~ 4 km you get to the first gate (to your left is a big
concrete radio tower), go through the gate and follow the main
gravel road;
- Near the end of your safari the road turns 90 degree right and
you drive along a game fence till you are at a big black sliding
gate
- After the gate, which please must be closed again, follow the
left road and after 1,5 km you will be at the Lodge.
