Need a small, friendly, quality place to stay in the 'Old East'
of Pretoria? Two Oaks Lynnwood is ideally situated for your business,
personal and holiday activities. A great place to catch your breath
before starting your international holiday! An easy drive from
Johannesburg International Airport. Your Hosts are well travelled
both Nationally and internationally and your Hostess runs a Tourist
Consultancy business.
In operation since 1989. Recently upgraded and refurbished, the
accommodation consists of two very large and comfortable suites
which also offer self catering facilities. The accommodation is
situated on 3/4 of an
acre of prime land in the up market suburb of Lynnwood close to
anything of importance in Pretoria and surrounding areas.
AFRICAN SUITE
Large and very spacious twin bedroom with lounge area, TV, Radio,
Safe, table & chairs and sleeper couch. Separate bathroom,
separate toilet and separate shower. Kitchenette with fridge,
microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and wash up.
Quality linen and towels provided. (Equipped for 4 people)
FLORAL SUITE
Large and very spacious twin bedroom with lounge area, table &
chairs, TV, Radio, Safe. There is a separate full bathroom with
bath, shower and WC. Also a 'Mini Kitchenette' with a microwave
oven, cutlery/crockery, kettle, toaster and fridge. Quality linen
and towels provided.
Both suites are equipped with electric blankets, heaters and
fans, iron and ironing board. Breakfast is extra and is served
in the African dinning room in the main home. It would be appreciated
if Clients do NOT smoke in the suites, but rather outside on the
patio. Thank you.
Two Oaks Lynnwood has a very large and restful garden. Huge trees
and wonderful bird life complete with a formal herb garden. Sit
under the trees on the large lawn with your binoculars and enjoy
the birds and peace and quite. A wonderful place to relax after
a busy day. Many Clients jog or take long walks in the safe environment
of Lynnwood.
SECURITY
Om De Berg Street is a closed Security Street with a 24 hour roving
guard.
There is secure off street parking.
Directions to accommodation
>From JOHANNESBURG INT AIRPORT
Take the R21 to PRETORIA. Turn on to the Nl to PIETERSBURG and
then take the LYNNWOOD RD/CSIR off ramp. Turn LEFT into LYNNWOOD
RD and travel in a westerly direction Turn RIGHT at the 2nd robot
into ROSEMARY RD. At the 3rd street turn LEFT into OM DE BERG
ST. Continue from **** at bottom of page.
>From the CITY CENTRE
Take SCHOEMAN ST east until it reaches DUNCAN ST. Cross DUNCAN
keeping to the RIGHT, you will see a slip road to your RIGHT.
Take this slip road and it will bring you back into DUNCAN ST.
Continue with DUNCAN ST and at the intersection with LYNNWOOD
ROAD turn LEFT. Turn LEFT into ROSEMARY STREET. (corner Menlo
Park Hoer Skool). Traffic lights. Cross over LYNNWOOD RD. At the
3rd street turn LEFT into OM DE BERG ST. Continue from **** at
bottom of page.
FROM MPUMALANGA/ WITBANK
Take the N4 to Pretoria. Turn on to the N1 SOUTH to Johannesburg.
Take the ATTERBURY ROAD/MENLYN off Ramp. Turn RIGHT into ATTERBURY
RD crossing the N1, travelling west. The road splits into Charles
St and Atterbury Rd. Keep RIGHT , stay in Atterbury rd.. ( Town
Lodge on right). 2 Traffic lights after the split in the road,
turn RIGHT into ROSEMARY STREET. (corner Menlo Park Hoer Skool).
Traffic lights. Cross over LYNNWOOD RD. At the 3rd street turn
LEFT into OM DE BERG ST. Continue from **** at bottom of page.
>From POLOKWANE/ PIETERSBURG
Take the N1 South towards Pretoria. Take the ATTERBURY ROAD/MENLYN
off Ramp. Turn RIGHT into ATTERBURY RD. You will cross over the
N1 and will be travelling in a westerly direction. The road splits
into Charles St and Atterbury Rd. Keep RIGHT , stay in Atterbury
rd. rd. ( Town Lodge on right). 2 Traffic lights after the split
in the road, turn RIGHT into ROSEMARY STREET. (corner Menlo Park
Hoer Skool). Traffic lights. Cross over LYNNWOOD RD. At the 3rd
street turn LEFT into OM DE BERG ST. Continue from **** at
bottom of page.
>From BOTSWANA, GABERONE
You will probably approach Pretoria from KRUGERSDORP on the R28.
At the intersection with the N1 from Johannesburg, DO NOT GET
ONTO THE BEN SCHOEMAN TO PRETORIA, but rather continue with the
N1 to PIETERSBURG. You will pass CENTURION on your left and IRENE
on your right and pass UNDER the R21 from Johannesburg International
Airport. Take the LYNNWOOD RD/CSIR off ramp. Turn LEFT into LYNNWOOD
RD and travel in a westerly direction. Turn RIGHT at the 2nd set
of traffic lights into ROSEMARY STREET. Turn LEFT into OM DE BERG
ST. Continue from **** at bottom of page.
>From JOHANNESBURG AND THE N1 MOTORWAY
Take the N1 to PRETORIA/PIETERSBURG. Follow the signs to Pietersburg
(N1) from Johannesburg, DO NOT GET ONTO THE BEN SCHOEMAN TO PRETORIA,
but rather continue with the N1 to PIETERSBURG. You will pass
CENTURION on your left and IRENE on your right and pass UNDER
the R21 from Johannesburg
International Airport. Take the LYNNWOOD RD/CSIR off ramp. Turn
LEFT into LYNNWOOD RD and travel in a westerly direction. Turn
RIGHT at the 2nd set of traffic lights into ROSEMARY STREET. At
the 3rd street turn LEFT into OM DE BERG ST. Continue from ****
at bottom of page.
**** You will see that it has gates. Go to the 'Goosenek\' control
arm which is on your RIGHT and press in the Code. The gate will
open and close quickly so do not take your time. Two Oaks is the
2nd house on your LEFT #407 (you will see it on the street at
the top of the driveway). Drive down and park in front of the
big gates, ring the bell and I will let you in.
