The serenity of Kloofzicht is embodied by water as the lodge, comprising forty-two suites, overlooks six exquisite fly-fishing dams and the lower reaches of the Blaauwbank Spruit, which meanders through the unspoilt Zwartkops gorge.

The unique combination of textured interiors is carried throughout the lodge, from the warm luxury of the Little Foot Bar and Restaurant to the elegant conference facilities.

Kloofzicht Lodge accommodates up to 120 conference delegates theatre-style in Sandstone and 120 delegates in the combined Dolomite and Quartz rooms. Dolomite and Quartz can be divided and then comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests each. Conference packages combined with fly fishing is available in the winter months, while conference and spa combination packages are available at Chicama Country Spa, adjacent to Kloofzicht Lodge.

With a highly skilled and creative culinary team, fine dining is an experience not to be missed. Hand-selected wines can be enjoyed around a glowing fire while those searching for something less formal will be delighted with Al fresco lunches overlooking the trout dams and breath-taking mountain ranges.

The small but magnificent nature reserve upon which Kloofzicht is built, is home to kudu, impala, blue wildebeest, eland, red hartebeest, springbuck, gemsbok, zebra as well as a fascinating array of bird life.

Kloofzicht boasts with a fly-fishing academy and the experience of a lifetime awaits you, regardless of your level of expertise. Trout, bass, carp and the ever- elusive yellow fish will provide you with hours of entertainment and the opportunity to unwind and relax. Other recreational facilities include archery, hot-air ballooning, guided nature walks, game viewing and bird watching. Within close proximity to Kloofzicht are the Rhino and Lion reserve, Wonder Caves, Sterkfontein Caves, Kromdraai goldmine and two golf courses.

Directions to accommodation
From Johannesburg International Airport (approx. 1 hour)
• Follow the N12 Johannesburg signs (heading towards Eastgate)
• Take the N3 North off ramp at the N12/N3 interchange.
• N3 will eventually become the N1.
• Stay on the N1 South – Roodepoort
You will pass the following off ramps:
Modderfontein
Marlborough
Woodmead
Johannesburg/Pretoria –N3/N1 Interchange
Rivonia
William Nicol
Hans Strydom
• Take the next off ramp – Beyers Naude – M5
• Turn right over the highway
• Keep straight on Beyers Naude through Honeydew until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp highway

• Keep straight on Beyers Naude through Honeydew until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp
• Turn left onto Highway heading towards Krugersdorp.
• The very next turn off is Muldersdrift/Driefontein turn left off freeway. Then turn left underneath freeway. Next T-junction turn right towards Driefontein.
• Carry along this road until you get to T-junction.
• You will see Kloofzicht gate in front of you.

From Johannesburg / Sandton / Fourways (Approx. 20 – 35min)
• Keep straight on Beyers Naude – M5 through Honeydew
• Until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp Highway.
• Turn left onto Highway heading towards Krugersdorp.
• The very next turn off is Muldersdrift/Driefontein turn left off freeway. Then turn left underneath freeway. Next T-junction turn right towards Driefontein.
• Carry along this road until you get to T-junction.
• You will see Kloofzicht gate in front of you.

From Pretoria (Approx. 35 – 40 min)
• Proceed on the N14 South towards Krugersdorp
• Go past the following off ramps:
R55 – Sandton
R511 – Sandton
R512 – Randburg / Lanseria
M5 – Randburg/Swartkop
• The very next turn off is Muldersdrift/Driefontein turn left off freeway. Then turn left underneath freeway. Next T-junction turn right towards Driefontein.
Carry on until T-junction; you will see the Kloofzicht Gate in front of you.

From Krugersdorp (Approx. 30 min)
• Proceed north on the N14 – Pretoria / Krugersdorp Highway
• Take Muldersdrift/Driefontein turnoff and turn left towards Driefontein.
• Carry on until you reach T-junction, you will see the Kloofzicht gate in front of you.

From Johannesburg South (Approx. 30 min)
• Follow the N1 North – Pretoria
• Take the M5 – Beyers Naude
• At the top of the off ramp turn left
• Keep straight on Beyers Naude through Honeydew
• Until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp Highway.
• Turn left onto Highway heading towards Krugersdorp.
• The very next turn off is Muldersdrift/Driefontein turn left off freeway. Then turn left underneath freeway. Next T-junction turn right towards Driefontein.
• Carry along this road until you get to T-junction.
• You will see the Kloofzicht gate in front of you.
