Our self catering suites and studios offer the
same high standard of accommodation as the Boutique Guesthouse
but with the freedom that self catering brings. A continental
breakfast is provided each day in your kitchen, as is coffee,
tea, milk, sugar etc. There are 7 units all with private entrances
and secure parking. You are welcome to use swimming pool (before
8pm only) and relax in the garden areas around the property. 5
self catering suites and 2 self catering studios that sleep up
to 3 adults or 2 plus 2 children (cots provided for infants).
Situated around the corner from the main guesthouse on Essenwood
road, all our units have been totally refurbished to provide fully
equipped kitchens including hob, oven and microwave and are fully
serviced daily - so no need to wash up, no cleaning or making
beds but with all the added freedom that self catering brings.
Directions to accommodation
From Johannesburg
N3 towards Durban.
As you approach Durban you will pass the Pavillion Shopping Centre
on the right.
Continue on the N3 under The North Coast / South Coast Motorway.
Continue on and take the Tollgate Bridge off-ramp.
At the top proceed through the traffic light to the next set of
lights.
At these lights turn left into Essenwood Road.
164 Self Catering units will be found at number 76 (on the right
just before the next traffic lights).
For the main guesthouse proceed along Essenwood Road to the 3rd
set of traffic lights, turn right into St Thomas Road.
164 will be found shortly after the next set of robots on the
left.
From Durban International Airport
On leaving the Airport, follow the N2 north/Pietermaritzburg
signs.
Follow the N2 until the Pietermaritzburg turn-off, follow the
split east towards the city.
Take the 3rd exit signposted Tollgate.
Follow from point number 5 above.
From Durban CBD
Drive up Smith street heading for the N3 / Pietermaritzburg
Take the second off-ramp sign posted Essenwood Road.
At the robot turn right.
Follow from point 5 of the Jo'berg directions above.
From North Coast
1. Follow the N2 into Durban past Gateway
2. You will eventually find exit for Pietermaritzburg
3. Take this exit turning left into Durban CBD
4. Third exit turn left - signposted Tollgate
5. Follow from point 5 of the Jo'berg directions above.
