The Royal Hotel Pilgrims Rest is an unspoiled gold mining village
and a national monument that offers a unique experience never
to be forgotten. Strike it lucky panning for gold or roam the
village on a crazy treasure hunt leading to a gold-dig where you
can stake your "claim ". In the evening's boma braais
and street parties with perhaps a Can Can dancer or two can be
