Marloth Park is a proclaimed Nature Conservation Holiday Town,
sharing a +- 17km common border with the world renowned KRUGER
NATIONAL PARK
Situated in the eastern lowveld area of the Mpumalanga Province,
R.S.A., next to the Crocodile River and between the Malelane and
Crocodile Bridge gates to the Kruger Park. Only 4 hours drive
east of Johannesburg (1 hour east of Nelspruit International Airport)
takes you to this paradise where you can enjoy a personal and
intimate visit with the wildlife of the African bush. With easy
access to the borders of Swaziland and Mozambique (Passports and
Visas in some instances are required), you are close to some of
the most amazing and unexplored dive sites in the world. You are
only a hour or so, away from the exclusive Swazi Spa and Casino.
You can take a day's self-drive trip through the southern Kruger
Park areas, or you can go on day or night drives in open safari
vehicles with professional game guides and
trackers. You are close to the Malalane and Leopard Creek Golf
courses. Why not wake up to the distinctive cry of the African
Fish Eagle which symbolises the wild freedom of the African bush.
This rugged harsh bush is home to Giraffe, Impala, Zebra, Wildebeest,
Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Kudu, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Leopard,
Cheetah, Hyena, Jackal, Hippo and a variety of smaller antelope
such as Duiker and Steenbok. More than 300 species of bird have
been identified in Marloth Park. Enjoy game viewing from one of
the lookout points situated along the Crocodile River. Return
to the comfortable home to rest and relax on the upstairs deck
and watch the wandering game as they pass through the garden surrounding
the house. Watch the unforgettable African sunset while sipping
a cool drink on
the deck. Prepare to cook your meals in the kitchen or have a
traditional bush style barbeque outside. Study the amazing stars
as they twinkle above the dark African bush
