GocheGanas Nature Reserve & Wellness Village
is situated in central Namibia, a mere 29 km south-east of Windhoek
on a Private Nature Reserve. The lodge is sited on a hilltop overlooking
a spectacular landscape; this luxurious lodge offers a unique
combination of Wildlife, nature and Wellness experiences. The
architecture and decor incorporates local arts and crafts in celebration
of the culture of Namibia. We offer 16 totally private chalets
under thatched roof with uninterrupted and spectacular views over
the surrounding Private Nature Reserve. Complimenting and enhancing
the Lodge, is our Wellness Village, boasting state of the art
wellness facilities. It is a place where the noise of our busy
lives is drowned out by the whispers of tranquillity - a place
where we can draw upon the strength of a healthy body and the
sanctuary of our inner calm. GocheGanas Private Nature Reserve
is wildlife haven hosting 21 different large game species roaming
the 6000 hectare Nature Reserve, totalling approx. 1,600 Animals:
Rhino, Bat-eared Fox, Giraffe, Mountain- and Plains Zebra, Cheetah,
Jackal and Leopard, Blue- and Black Wildebeest, Eland, Oryx, Red
Hartebeest, Kudu, Springbok, Waterbuck, Steenbok, Duiker, Klipspringer,
Ostrich and Warthog.
GocheGanas Wellness Village
Wellness is a holistic approach to health that combines all aspects
of physical, mental and spiritual well-being to realign mind,
body and soul. It is a place where the noise of our busy lives
is drowned out by the whispers of tranquillity - a place where
we can draw upon the strength of a healthy body and the sanctuary
of our inner calm.The Wellness Village consists of 11 specialist
treatment rooms featuring state of the art equipment, a heated
indoor swimming pool under a cathedral like masonry vault, an
outdoor swimming pool on the Oasis Peninsula affording breathtaking
views, a Granite Bath (cave sauna), Kneipp showers and also include
fitness, gym and yoga facilities, fruit and juice bar.A large
variety of special packages and wellness treatments are offered,
ranging from outdoor massages to de-stress and detoxification
packages, ThalassO treatments as well as personal training and
nutritional consultations.
Directions to Accommodation
Take the B1 out of Windhoek, after 20 km turn left on the gravel
road D1463 for 9 km and turn right through the GocheGanas entrance
gate.
