SEDIBA PRIVATE GAME LODGE is located in one of South Africa's most renowned areas of unspoilt natural beauty, the lodge is set
within the 37 000 hectare Malaria-Free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, which is a mere 3 hour drive from Johannesburg. SEDIBA has fifteen sumptuous, open-plan suites, each with lounge, double bedroom and en suite bathroom, open onto personal decks with Jacuzzis overlooking the majestic Waterberg Mountains. Directions to accommodation
Take N1 Pretoria/Pietersburg/(POLOKWANE) to Pietersburg/(POLOKWANE). At the Kranskop Toll Gate take left hand gate option (Nylstroom/(MODIMOLLE) /Marble Hall). Travel through Nylstroom (MODIMOLLE) and drive 60km to Vaalwater/(MABATLANE). Go straight through Vaalwater/(MABATLANE) approximately 24km from Vaalwater/MABATLANE) On your left hand side is the Welgevonden Main Gate. Carry on past the Main Gate for approximately 22km until you come to Schoongelegen Road which is a gravel road. Turn left into Schoongelegen Road and carry on for about 17km until you reach Welgevonden West Gate on your left hand side. (The gravel road to the West Gate carries high volumes of traffic and is often in a poor condition, please drive slowly and allow at least 30 minutes to travel
this road to The West Gate.) Our lodges are situated quite far from the gate, so to avoid inconvenience guests transferring themselves are to arrive at the Western Gate at the specified time as no private vehicles are allowed in the game reserve and guests have to be picked up from the gate by our Rangers.Safe covered parking is provided at the gate on the inside of the reserve.
