Mabalingwe Country Club covers 1 200 hectares of Malaria Free true
African Bushveld. We consider ourselves a Nature Reserve first and a Country
Club second. Boasting over 450 animals on our property and home to over 20
species of African mammals including, to name a few, Giraffe, Zebra, Eland,
Kudu, Gemsbok, Nyala, Impala, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Warthog &
Bushpig and many, many more. You will not be disappointed on our Game
Drives. Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, one of our partners, is adjacent to our
property and boasts over 12 000 hectares of African Bushveld and hosts The Big 5. We can offer you a drive on the reserve where it is very
common to encounter Elephant, Rhino, Hippo, as well as most of the antelope
species found throughout Africa. Your Safari experience through our two
Reserves will be a memorable one guaranteed.
For the Bird lovers
Mabalingwe is a bird watcher's paradise, with in excess of over 250
species of birds. The golf course, 10 dams and the completion of our Bird
Sanctuary, which encompasses a marsh land area with two islands all add to
the natural habitat to attract additional bird species to our reserve. We
have also erected four elevated bird hides adjacent to our Python Dam, over
six hectares of surface water, which will enhance your birding experience.
This is a very small list of a few of the species you should encounter:
Secretary Bird, Martial Eagle, Fish Eagle, Brown Snake Eagle, Ostriches,
Plovers, Pied Kingfisher, Various Ducks & Geese, Francolins, Guineas,
Bee-Eaters, Rollers, Grey Louries and many, many more.

get any better. A five star golf course situated in the African Bushveld.
Our practice facility is 5-Star, including 5 target greens with
bunkers and 5 000 sq. meters of hitting area. Plus four separate practice
greens to perfect your chipping & bunker play as well as your putting.
Directions to accommodation
From Johannesburg take the N1 to Pretoria. Follow the N1 signs
towards POLOKWANE (Pietersburg). Take the R516 to Warmbaths turn of and turn
left going to Bela Bela (Warmbaths). At the T-junction, the waterfront will
be in front of you, turn right. Go over the bridge, first robot left. Follow
the road around a sharp right bend. At the next road turn left, go past the
Aventura Resort on your left. At the roundabout, turn left. Drive +/- 35km
passing the Mabalingwe game reserve on your right. Turn right at the Tar
road on your right that says Rooiberg and with large Zebula Sign on the
corner of the turn off. Drive +/- 4km Turn right at the Zebula sign and
+/-5km down the newly tarred road and the ZEBULA country club will be on
your right hand side. Follow the signs to lodge Nr 10.
