We provide comfortable accommodation in the lodge
or chalets self catering or dinner, bed and breakfast. Campsites
also available.
Situated against the mountains of the Klein Drakensberg, on the
North-Eastern Escarpment, our delightful self-catering chalets
face out towards the Kruger National Park, and the last valley
of the Blyde Canyon. Our game farm is unique in that it contains
mountains and a major river.Highveld at the top of the mountains,
down through the sheer escarpment with streams and forest, to
the Blyde River in the lowveld.
Directions to accommodation
(a) From East Gate Airport:
Pick up your hire car and travel about 12 km to Hoedspruit and
then take the R527 towards the mountains. After about 18km cross
the Blyde River and turn left into Driehoek Road (gravel). After
about 6.5km you will see the "TRACKERS" sign on the
right hand side.
(b) From Gauteng:
Leaving Johannesburg in the morning, take the N12 and travel east
towards Witbank where you will link up with the N4. After you
have passed Witbank and Middelburg, look for the R540 and turn
left towards Belfast, Dullstroom and Lydenburg. If you get to
Lydenburg NOT LATER THAN ABOUT MIDDAY, you will have time to take
the scenic route to Pilgrims' Rest and Graskop. Take the R532
past the view points including God's Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes,
the 3 Rondawels etc.(The latter is the most spectacular!). Then
turn right into the R36 for Orighstad and the Strijdom Tunnel
and then on to "Trackers".
(c) From the Strijdom Tunnel:
Travel for 25 km on the R36 and R527 towards Hoedspruit, and turn
right just before the Blyde River bridge, along the Driehoek Rd.
After about 6,5km on a gravel road, you will see the "TRACKERS"
sign on the right hand side.
(d) From Orpen Gate:
Travel for 40 km until you reach the R40. Turn right and after
approx. 2 km, the road will split. Keep left and go under the
bridge. The road becomes the R531. Go for approx. 18 - 20 km towards
the mountains and you will see signboards for Swadini and "Trackers"
on the left hand side. Go along this road for approx. 5 km and
then turn right along the road to Jonkmanspruit. Travel for approx.
7 km and look for the "TRACKERS" sign on the left hand
side.
(e) From Phalaborwa Gate:
Travel to Hoedspruit and turn onto the R527, facing towards the
mountains. Travel for approx. 18 km, then turn left onto the Driehoek
road, just after the bridge. Go for approx 6,5 km. Look for the
sign on the right hand side.
