Rudolph and Tina were first to introduce the guestfarm
concept in the Robertson Wine Valley when they started Weltevrede
Guestfarm in 1991. There was only one cottage, with oil lamps
and a gas cooker. Lately the farm boasts 7 cottages, a conference
and wedding facility, a bistro and coffee shop and a privately
owned winery. To accommodate our guests during our hot and dry
Karoo summers we have a swimming pool, a lapa (Boma) and for the
more adventurous, there is the Breede River, which forms one boundary
of our farm. The guest cottages at Weltevrede are built on the
edge of one of the dams on the farm. The river and dam are popular
for fishing and birdwatching. For the city dweller, Weltevrede
is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Although our cottages are
self-catering, with exception of the two en suite private rooms,
all guests and day visitors can eat at our bistro.
* Cinsaut Sleeps 6 - three bedrooms with two single beds each,bathrooms
with baths, fully equipped kitchen and a living room with both
in and outside fireplaces. *light continental breakfast included
*Pinotage Sleeps 2 people - only one bedroom with a double bed,
bathroom with a bath and shower and a kitchen with braai facilities
on the stoep. *light continental breakfast included
* Vin Doux Sleeps 4 people - open plan with one double bed and
a loft with two single beds, bathroom with a shower and a kitchen
with an inside fireplace. This cottage also has cable TV and an
outside braai area. *light continental breakfast included
*Touriga Sleeps 2 people - one bedroom with a double bed, en suite
bathroom with shower. Open plan kitchen and living room with a
fireplace. This cottage also has cable TV and a braai on the stoep.

Private and 'en suite' rooms:
These rooms are equipped with bedding, towelling, kettles, mugs,
coffee, tea and rusks. Each room leads onto a private stoep
with a view over the swimming pool and garden.

Directions to accommodation
Bon Rouge lies in the valley of wine and roses within easy cruising
distance from Cape Town. Take the N1 to Worcester and continue
via the R60 towards Robertson. 30 km from Worcester, look out
for the Bon Cap sign on your left.
