that is surrounded by magnificent mountains and beautiful beaches.
The area is home to the world class Erinvale Golf course as well
as many others. It is the gateway to the Stellenbosch Wine Route,
and boasts well-known historical farms like Morgenster, Vergelegen
and Lourensford. Strand is only 25 minutes from Hermanus where
the majestic whales frolic for a few months every year. The Helderberg
Nature Reserve with it’s indigenous fauna and flora offers
nature lovers spectacular hiking trails as well as bird watching.
The Somerset Mall Shopping centre is just 5 minutes away and houses
a variety of shops, restaurants and Ster Kinekor.
We are a mere 40 minutes from the centre of Cape Town with it’s
famous Table Mountain, the cosmopolitan waterfront, Robben Island
boat trips and the Century City Shopping Mall.

Directions to accommodation
From the airport, go straight out towards the N2.
Take the Somerset West turnoff LEFT. Continue on the N2 past a
few turnoff\'s including, Stellenbosch (Spine Road), Eerste River,Macassar,
until you come to the Strand/Somerset West/ Stellenbosch turnoff
(Broadway
Boulevard). Take the off ramp and keep to the RHS. At the robots,
turn RIGHT. Carry on straight past the first Somerset Mall turnoff
(BE CAREFUL OF THE CAMERA ABOUT 500M AFTER GOING UNDER THE BRIDGE)Go
through the next 2 robots. Keep in the RH lane. At the next robot,
TURN RIGHT into the road that takes you past the Golf course down
to the beach front. Carry on straight down the beach front. At
the opposite end of Strand you will come to a traffic circle with
a fountain in the middle.Go around the circle and carry on along
the beach front. Pass the \"STRAND PAVILLION\" and then
the \"STRAND SWIMMING POOL\"
on your RHS.About 500m further the road kinks to the right and
you pass Welgelegen flats - THE NEXT BLOCK ON YOUR RHS IS ..................\'Blake\'s
Terrace\". Turn LEFT at the road after Blake\'s and then
immediately left again. When you come to the wrought iron gate
with an intercom - press \"3\"
