Cherrywoods is a freshly designed, character home having the authentic atmosphere of a Mediterranean villa. Rich earthy hues provide harmonious complement to the meticulously collected antique fixtures and fittings including elegant furnishings, original electrical fittings and an antique French wood stove to warm up the kitchen area.

Stylish and Luxurious, 'Cherrywoods ' can comfortably sleep 8 to 10 persons. A spectacular vista of Table Mountain through the tree canopies is apparent from the sitting room and the three double bedrooms. 'Cherrywoods ' has a private walled garden within the estate with a tranquil swimming pool and barbeque area. Additional facilities beyond the private wall, include a sauna and delightful rose & woodland-fringed croquet lawn.

Safe parking for several vehicles is available. The residence may also be split into two separate units. Each unit can sleep up to four persons, with the reception room and other amenities being shared. Children are welcome, provided parents take responsibility for their safety and prevention of damages. A caterer is available to provide pre-prepared meals, dinner parties, cocktail parties & picnics.

We regret, smoking is not allowed indoors. Pets can be accommodated by special arrangement. Telephone is available. Internet and fax access can also be arranged. International house exchange can be arranged under special circumstances. Movie shoots can be arranged.

Directions to accommodation
DIRECTIONS TO CONSTANTIA WOODS ESTATE

1. Exit the Airport and continue for approximately 3km
2. Merge onto the N2 HIGHWAY
3. Follow N2 STAD / CITY signs
4. After approximately 18km move into the left hand lane with M3
MUIZENBERG sign
5. Continue on M3 past the University (on Right hand side) until A set
of Traffic Lights (approximately 12km)
6. Continue along M3, up and over the brow of a hill, until you are
driving with the sea in the distance on you left.
7. Once over the brow of the hill the road will curve sharply to the
left, follow the road down the large sweeping drive and look out for the
'Constantia / Hout Bay Off-Ramp (M41) on the left hand-side as you near the
bottom of the hill.
8. Follow off-ramp and at the T-junction at the bottom of the off-ramp
turn left into Constantia road (M41). Follow this road past a sports club
on your left, and then a shopping centre.
9. You will reach a set of traffic lights with a stone church on the
right hand side. Continue straight across these lights.
10. The road will dip down and veer to the right. Pass the turn-off to
Groot Constantia Wine Farm on the left hand side, and a little further on
the entrance to Silverhurst Estate on the right.
11. Shortly thereafter you will notice 'Price Drive' on the left. Go
past Price Drive and look out for the second driveway entrance on the left
hand side of Constantia Road after Price Drive entrance.
12. Our Property is a white house with a thatched roof and has stone
gate pillars with a large wooden gate marked with a signboard reading
'Cedarwoods ', Constantia Woods Estate. There is a row of Victorian posts,
joined by chains, on the road verge outside, as well as a rather beautiful
tall Victorian Street Lamp
