Harbour Lights Guest House at CAPE AGULHAS, the
Southernmost Tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans
meet, overlooks the colourful fishing harbour of Struisbaai, a
scenic 200 km from CAPE TOWN. The Guest House has a 3-star TGCSA
rating, was an AA Accommodation Awards semi-finalist for 2005
and is Portfolio Collection Accredited. Stylish en suite bedrooms
have colour TV, tea and coffee facilities, heated towel rails,
electric blankets, ceiling fans and hairdryers. Panoramic sea
views invite you to a hearty breakfast in the elegant dining room
or on the balcony. Dinner is served every evening. This establishment
is fully licensed, accepts credit cards and offers safe parking.
The accommodation consists of four en suite, double, non-smoking
rooms, as well as a self-catering unit (fully equipped), which
sleeps a maximum of four guests. The ocean is rich in scuba diving
wrecks. Rock angling, hiking, bird watching, whale watching trips
by charter, 4x4 coastal tours, deep sea fishing and pleasure trips,
horse riding, eco quad nature trails and water sports are some
of the activities you can enjoy. Nearby Bredasdorp hosts the Kapula
Candle factory and Julian’s Pottery Place as well as the
shipwreck museum and a golf course. Also visit the Cape Agulhas
Lighthouse and the cairn marking the Southernmost Tip of Africa.

Directions to Accommodation
Travelling from Cape Town, leave the N2 at Caledon and take the
R316 to Bredasdorp. From Bredasdorp take the R319 to Struisbaai/Lâ
Agulhas (28 km). *After the shopping centre (OK Grocer) in Struisbaai,
take the first street to the left to the harbour. Our signboard,
Harbour Lights B&B, is also at this turn off. After turning
left, turn right again, then left again. We are opposite the harbour's
parking area. If coming from the Mossel Bay direction, leave the
N2 12 km after Swellendam on the R319 to Bredasdorp. From Bredasdorp
take the R319 to Struisbaai/Lâ Agulhas (28 km). Follow the
instructions as above. *
