Muizenberg was once the most famous beach resort of the Cape but even though its fame has diminished somewhat, the beach is still the same. The beach is still beautiful and stretches as far as you can see (or walk). Also, the Vlei (lagoon) is still right on our doorstep, with its Kingfishers, enormous pick nick area and water sport possibilities.

Sonstraal Guesthouse is only a 2 minutes walk from the beach, at the edge of Muizenberg.

Sonstraal offer tastefully decorated B&B rooms, of which 6 (of the 8) have en suite bathrooms.
Sonstraal also has serveral self catering units with fully equiped kitchens: Cottages (4-6 pers.) some with their own terrace and Studios (2 pers.). The self catering units do not include breakfast.
Guests can also make use of the pool and "braai" (barbeque) areas and covered terraces.

Children can have great fun at the big pool with water slide, miniature golf course and playing area on the beach edge in the village. The sea is also very children friendly as the water gets deep very gradually.

Children up to 6 years of age stay free (using the same room).
Down payments for bookings:
Up to 3 nights, payment of the whole amount.
4 nights or longer, 50% down payment, balance to be settled 14 days (or 30 days) before arrival.
Cancellations:
Full refund of the down payment (minus 5% with a min of R200 for costs) with cancellations
14 days in advance and 30 days for special events and school holidays.
Breakfast served from 8:00 till 10:00 pm
