All bedrooms open onto a spacious terrace designed
to reflect its original grandeur. Originally used by the Governor
to entertain hunting parties.
Set on the slopes of Table Mountain, Red House guests feast
their eyes on this incredible monument as they lay in the sun
or swim in the warm waters of the oval swimming pool.
With a maximum of 10 guests, exclusivity is assured in four
luxury Rooms and one secluded Cottage.
The Red House has been featured in many prestigious glossy magazines
& is consistently used by the fashion & film industry
(as location and as accommodation).
Ingeborg and Ben van Maanen (of Dutch origin), and friendly staff
are always on hand to ensure personal and professional service.
You can therefore look forward to a warm welcome in a unique atmosphere
for the duration of your stay, safe in the knowledge that your
pleasure is our highest priority.
Dutch, English and (Swiss)German spoken.
The pool, garden, outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna/ Steam/ Massage Room
are, of course, accessible and exclusive to all Red House guests.
Relax and unwind, body and soul. The gentle yet penetrating sense
of pure oils combined with soothing lymphatic drainage strokes
that stimulate, sedate or relax. Various treatments are available
such as Full Body Aromatherapy Massage * Reflexology Treatment
* Sports Massage * Lymphatic Drainage Treatment * Foot Massage.
Treatments will be done by our Holistic Therapists.
Unfortunately children under 12 years are not accommodated at
the Red House.
Directions to accommodation
Follow the N2 from the Airport towards Cape Town Take
the M3 towards Muizenberg when you reach the Table Mountain (ignore
earlier signs). Turn left at the first traffic lights/crossing
into Newlands Ave. Take the first right into Ravensberg Ave and
again take the first right into Amhurst Ave. At the end (approx.
100 mtrs.) of Amhurst Ave., you will see the red wall of the Red
House.
