Huijs Te Marquette is situated at The Point, near
the Khoi San Cave, one of the most scenic vantage points in Mossel
Bay. The elegant yet friendly interior succeeds in capturing the
atmosphere of maritime Mossel Bay through the many pictures, maps
and other artifacts on display.
Each of 12 bedrooms has it´s own en-suite bathroom, individual
character and attraction. Music forms an integral part of Anton
& Hester Bosman´s lifestyle, and the creation of atmosphere
around the fire place during winter, or at the fish B-B-Q´s.
They offer thorough information about the Garden Route, and Western
Cape. Once you settle in - you won't want to leave!
The elegant yet friendly interior succeeds in capturing the atmosphere

artifacts on display. Little expense has been spared in order
to make your stay a memorable one. Twelve individually-decorated
double rooms, each with en suite bathroom, offer comfort and leisure.
A full English breakfast is served and optional traditional
dinners can be arranged. Enjoy the company of friends in the cosy
Sleepers Bar, or snuggle up to a crackling fireplace during the
cooler winter months.

Directions to accommodation
From Oudtshoorn :
Follow R328 past Hartenbos; past 2 sets of traffic lights - another
2 km and road goes up a steep hill - just before bridge cross-over
turn left onto that road (Marsh Street = Main street) Go straight
down through centre of town (±1.8km) towards The Point.
At the end, at the bend and just before Milkwood Primary School
on left is Huijs te Marquette - look for the long building with
6 arches in front (if you can see it between all the plants!).
From George:
First Mossel Bay turn-off (off N2), turn left. At traffic lights
turn right (follow directional signs to Mossel Bay). Past another
set of traffic lights - another 2 km and road goes up a steep
hill - just before bridge cross-over turn left onto that road
(Marsh Street = Main street) Go straight down through centre of
town (±1.8km) towards The Point. At the end, at the bend
and just before Milkwood Primary School on left is Huijs te Marquette
- look for the long building with 6 arches in front (if you can
see it between all the plants!).
From Cape Town:
N2 turns off to the left, if you go straight directional sign
indicates Mossel Bay straight ahead - you carry on straight. Carry
on past third set of traffic lights - another 500m and the signs
shows The Point and CBD area to the left. At the traffic light
turn right and down the main street (Marsh Street). Go straight
down through centre of town (±1.8km) towards The Point.

on left is Huijs te Marquette - look for the long building with
6 arches in front (if you can see it between all the plants!)
