house, through dune forest, down to the sea. Spend the day enjoying

in the hospitality industry to a more private & intimate setting.

EXTRAS
Our very own gift and décor shop, "The Old House Shop",
is situated in one of the original typical Cape coastal style
cottages. Built in 1912 and situated at 5 Kloof Street near the
Tourism Office, "The Old House Shop" offers warm and
friendly service which makes shopping a pleasant and interesting
experience. It also incorporates the "Second Cup" coffee
shop where delicious light meals are served.
Southern Cross Beach House is the only guest house which offers
uninterrupted and direct access to the beach. The views from the
living / dining room are spectacular and all bedrooms open onto
a verandah overlooking a sunny garden courtyard. The sound of
the sea is always with you and at night you may even hear the
magical sound of the whales blowing.
Directions to accommodation
From the circle in Main St, go downhill past Central
Beach and over Piesang River bridge, over the circle, past the
Kwikspar shop and turn right into Longships Drive. Continue straight
over 3 speed bumps for approx. 2km. Turn left into Gris Nez Drive,
cross over the stop street (Rothersand), turn left into Gemini,
3rd street on the left. Turn right and immediately left into Capricorn
Lane.
