Whalesong Coastal Lodge is a unique holiday destination, and is situated in South Africa’s most charming of coastal towns, Plettenberg Bay. The lodge, a short distance above the town centre, has fantastic views of the bay, the mountains and the ocean beyond. Although stylish, it is quintessentially African - the inspiration for its design and concept is from the bush. Accommodation is in thatched rooms, and features include a boma and ethnic artwork. Within the same complex just below the lodge lie the Kayalethu Cultural Village, a showpiece of Xhosa culture, and an acclaimed craft centre.

Because Whalesong is at the top of Plettenberg Bay, the views of the ocean, the bay and the distant Tsitsikamma mountains are magnificent.
