Welcome to Whale Song Cottage! Our Guests will
immediately feel at home in our newly renovated, decorated self-catering
rental house. The cottage is situated in the heart of the Garden
Route in the very secure exclusive River Club Complex, where you
can enjoy your well deserved holiday in peaceful and tranquil
surrounds. Our holiday accommodation is within 5 minutes walk
of the Plettenberg Bay beach, shops and other amenities. The cottage
consists of three bedrooms each having its own bathroom. It has
an open-plan granite topped kitchen leading into a large lounge.
It sleeps 4 adults and 2 children. The main bedroom is en-suite
with a shower, a double bed and French doors opening into a large
private garden. The upstairs room has a double bed and toilet.
The third Bedroom has a very solid bunk bed, ideal for older children;
it also has its own private bathroom with a bath. The cottage
is north facing with magnificent views of the mountain and large
duck pond, filled with all sorts of birds, the complex also has
a large river running throughout the one boundary. (Ideal for
fishing)
The complex is completely fenced with 24 hours security. The cottage
has it own private walled garden and has two patios, one covered
and one under a pergola, with a water fountain next to it. You
also have a garden concrete table and benches at the bottom of
the garden ideal for a cup of the best or perhaps a little early
morning breakfast, with the sunbirds and bees. In addition it
has under floor heating in the lounge with a large movable fan
and gas heater. The kitchen has a dishwasher, large fridge freezer,
washing machine, a convectional microwave oven and a brand new
AEG oven and hob.
Directions to accommodation
From Cape Town on the N2 take the first turning right coming into
town, opposite the location (just prior to traffic circle).
From Port Elizabeth on the N2 take the next turning left after
the traffic circle. Look for a sign board saying airport, take
this road down the steep winding hill past the golf course until
you get shops on your right just after the boating shop on the
right look left and you will see the complex. Enter at the security
gate after signing in; drive straight ahead to traffic circle
(round about) turn left and immediately left you will see the
parking place for number 9 RC Mews. It is the house next door
to number 10.
