all mod. cons., TV, sep. scullery/laundry. Open plan living area
comprising TV-room, bar (seats 7), diningroom (8 seater), lounge,
braai/BBQ (wood & gas) and large stoep with unsurpassed views.

2) and 3): Groundfloor Apartments: 70 sq.m. each comprising 2
bedr./ 2 bathr., openplan kitchen/livingroom with breakfast bar,
integrating with covered patio with built-in braai/BBQ. Both with

4) First floor apartment: 2 bedr./1 bathr. With large openplan
livingroom/kitchen with breakfast bar. Fair view of main beach,
and beautiful mountain views from north facing bedrooms. Very
secluded, with own private lawn and braai facilities. (sleep 6)
5) Large room (back packers): 2 single beds, couch, en suite showerroom.
TV with m-net and satellite in all units. Separate laundry room
for apartments.
What to do: Kleinmond is the choice of sports enthusiasts and
nature lovers alike. From your covered patio, while you are doing
your braai/BBQ and having your sundowner, you can watch the whales
frolicking with there calves in the shallow water near the beach,
or try and spot the legendary herd of wild horses grasing on the
edge of the lagoon. Play golf at the delightful Kleinmond Golf
course (green fees R80), or visit the Arabella Golf Estate which
has one of the best courses in the country (rated 6th) and boasts
a Sheraton Hotel, with wellness centre, rated as one of the best
hotels in the world. There are 4 tennis courts across the road,
and very popular bowling greens next to it. Nearby hiking trails
have views you can only dream of. Sunbathe, swim, canoe and windsurf
at the white sandy beach and lagoon, or take long walks along
the shore. Visit the casino at Caledon, with spa and centuries
old mineral baths; botanical gardens; penquin colony; bird sanctuary;
the picture perfect old towns of Greyton and Genadendal. A round
trip of 195km will take you to the heart of the winelands through
Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, and back along a most scenic marine/mountain
drive, with lots of time to taste wine, dine and take pictures.
Cape Agulhas, the most southern tip of Africa, is only 175km.
away.
KLEINMOND
Nestled between rugged mountains and the ocean, Kleinmond is a
peaceful coastal town, on the edge of a unique biosphere reserve,
boasting 1600 different species of indigeonous plants, and declared
one of the planets few “World heritage Areas”. It
is very conveniently situated for the tourist, within easy reach
of Cape Town to the west, Cape Agulhas (the most southern tip
of Africa) to the east, and the Winelands of Stellenbosch and
Franschhoek to the north. It is renowned for its abundance of
lobster in summer, and whale watching in winter.
