Classic Rooms
These rooms are situated in the historic cedarwood building and
the courtyard annex and have all been tastefully refurbished to
reflect the contemporary colonial feel of the hotel. The valley
facing rooms each have their own private decks and the north facing
rooms open into private courtyards with wonderful views of the
vineyards or olive groves.
Cellar Rooms
These rooms are located in the original Devon Valley cellars and
have unobstructed views of the valley, each with its own patio.
They are spacious rooms with high ceilings, tiled floors, ceiling
fans and their own fire places. The mood is that of the wonderful
rustic charm of the Winelands. The rooms have baths with overhead
showers.
Luxury Rooms
The four Luxury Rooms are located in the Manor House and offer
spacious individually decorated rooms, all leading to a lovely
private courtyard with pool and jacuzzi. Three of the four rooms
offer twin-bed configurations and one has a kingsize double bed.
These rooms offer the privacy, comfort and convenience any traveller
requires and outstanding luxury in this perfect Winelands setting.
Junior Suite
The Junior Suites are extremely spacious and individually decorated
in a contemporary Cape style, offering a king-size double bed
and large bathroom with shower and separate free-standing queen
Anne bath. Expect spectacular valley & vineyard views as well
as the suite's elegance and comfort for a most memorable stay.
Family Suite
This room is situated in the historic cedarwood building and has
been tastefully refurbished to reflect the contemporary colonial
feel of the hotel. The main room has a queen size extra length
bed and the children's room has two three quarter extra length
beds. The room is north facing and opens into an intimate lavender
courtyard with fountain.
Executive Suite
This suite, in the stylishly refurbished Manor House, is the ultimate
in luxurious Winelands accommodation. An extremely spacious suite
with unequalled valley views, elegant furnishings, a king-size
four poster bed, fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom with free-standing
Queen Anne bath and double shower. Ideal for honeymoon couples.
Directions to accommodation
DIRECTIONS from the airport via the N2 & R310:
From the Airport, take the N2 in the direction of Somerset West.
Take Exit Number 33 off the N2 (signposted Baden Powell Drive
& Stellenbosch) and continue along the R310 in the direction
of Stellenbosch.
Continue for another approximately 10kms along the R310, passing
by Spier Wine Estate on your right.
You will reach a T-junction. Neethlingshof Wine Estate's tall
water fountain can be seen to your left from this point. Turn
right onto the R306 / M12 in the direction of Stellenbosch.
Continue along for another kilometer and a half and you will pass
the Cape Saw Mills on your left-hand side.
Turn left into the Devon Valley Road, immediately after you've
passed the Cape Saw Mills. You will pass a small industrial area
on your left-hand side.
Continue on for about 5kms on the Devon Valley Road and you will
reach the hotel's main entrance - on your right-hand side.
